3 Year Old Pre Nursery Class
The Pre Nursery program at Happy Trails Elementary School gives our little ones an environment that is not only safe and secure but child friendly as well for their first experience in a structured setting with teachers and group of children. It’s an opportunity to learn, to share, follow instructions, and begin the foundation for learning that will occur eventually in elementary school.
4 Year Old Nursery Class
Our Nursery program prepares children for kindergarten as kindergarten becomes more academic. With the current trend that tends to focus on pre-math and pre-literacy skills in preschool; cuts into their important play time and pushes a child to grow up too fast. It’s a confusing issue,especially with friends and family offering different opinions and advice. Fortunately, with our Nursery program, parents aren’t forced to choose between their child’s play time and making sure they ready for kindergarten. Our high-quality early childhood education program will offer children both. Our programs have been customized in a way that understand the ways young children develop and learn. We have organized space, time and activities to be in sync with children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical abilities.
5 Year Old Kindergarten Class
Our Kindergarten program introduces young children to an elementary school environment which teaches them to adjust more quickly to elementary school. Kindergartners begin to feel comfortable in the classroom so that, by first grade, they are acclimated to the school setting and prepared to focus on learning. Kindergarten learning also lays the groundwork for learning in later grades.
